Where can I park?

We have a limited number of parking spaces at our building at 48 Emerald St, but there is a ton of parking all around downtown Keene that is both inexpensive and easy to access via your phone. The Commercial Street Lot is just a minute walk from Nova.

Keene street & metered parking is free on Sundays and after 5pm Mon-Sat.

Will I be able to get in to everything if I have a pass?

Your pass will give you access to everything, but we do have limited space, so it is first come first served as far as where you can be during the shows. We recommend arriving early!

Can I bring my kids?

The shows at Nova Arts are always All Ages. If you want to check it out and have little kids (under 12) with you, throw in whatever donation you can when you arrive, no need to purchase separate passes for them. Kiddos 12 or older will need a ticket.

What are your Covid Protocols?

As of now, masks are optional in the space, regardless of vaccination status. You can check out more info plus the venue’s safety policies HERE.

Tickets are not refundable if you do not agree with the policy that is in place. We reserve the right to change the policy without notice.

How can I get a ticket?

We have tickets available for each day as well as a four day pass that will cover you for the whole shebang. Tickets are available HERE.

What about seats? Stages?

There are two stages, one outside, and one inside. If there is something you’re especially excited about, we suggest getting there early to ensure a good spot.

All of the shows will be standing room only, with a handful of seats available on a first come first served basis. Please let us know if you need specific accommodations. The wheelchair accessible entrance is at the front of the building (there will be many friendly folks available to answer questions or to help out).

Happenings about town are all walkable from the main stage space: All off site performance sites will be updated with directions/addresses.

Do you have food or drinks on site?

Brewbakers & Terra Nova Coffee have a great menu of food and drink on site, featuring Post and Beam beers on tap, and a special limited edition can. We also have kombucha, wine, hard cider, hard seltzer, and a huge selection of non-alcoholic drinks, coffees and teas.

The cafe will have some special food offerings during the concerts; more info on that soon!

There are also a number of awesome restaurants within walking distance if you want to explore the area.

I love The Thing in the Spring and would like to support, but I can’t make the shows.

Well, thank you! Please consider making a tax-deductible donation HERE.

Where the heck are you even?

Nova Arts is part of a collaborative space at 48 Emerald St in Keene NH. You’ll find Brewbakers Cafe and Terra Nova Coffee Roasters, as well as Billies + Tilli plants and flowers, lp vendors Keene on Vinyl and Feeding Tube Records, and Wakadoodles art and craft. The Thing took place in Peterborough NH from 2008-2021, but now calls Nova its home.

Where can I stay?

There are a number of hotels and a wild array of AirBnbs in town. Our favorite spots are the Carriage Barn Inn just down the street, and The Marlborough House, just a few miles away in downtown Marlborough NH. This site, run by the Chamber, has a good selection as well.
